Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. He is an actor, known for The Crying Game (1992), Hear My Song (1991) and My Left Foot: The Story of Christy Brown (1989). He has been married to Anna Nygh since 1986. He later graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (Class of 1983).　　He originally played the part of Bail Organa, Princess Leia's adopted father, in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999).
