剧情简介：ThePsiCorpsandPresidentClark,whosegovernmenthasdiscoveredShadowvesselsburiedinEarth'ssolarsystem,begintoharnessthevessels'advancedtechnology.TheClarkadministrationcontinuestobecomeincreasinglyxenophobicandtotalitarian,andusesamilitaryincidentasanexcusetodeclaremartiallaw.ThistriggersawarofindependenceonMars,whichhadlonghadastrainedpoliticalrelationshipwithEarth.Babylon5alsodeclaresindependencefromEarth,alongwithseveralotheroutlyingEarthAlliancecolonies.Inresponse,theEarthAllianceattemptstoretakeBabylon5byforce,butwiththeaidoftheMinbari,whohavealliedwiththestationagainstthegrowingShadowthreat,theattackisrepelled.
