DragonhelpsJaneasshetrainstobecomeaknight.Whensheisonpatrolduty,heletsherrideonhisbackashefliesaroundthecastle.JaneinturnhelpsDragon,whoisanorphan,inhiseffortstouncoverthesecretsofhisheritage. Inadditiontoherbestfriend,Dragon,Janehasseveralotherfriendsamongthecastlestaff.Jestertheroyaljester,Pepperthecastlecook,andRakethecastlegardenerareallaboutJane'sage.SheisalsofriendswithSmithy,thecastleblacksmith,stablehand,andsquiretotheknights.
