Came across the first episode on TV and laughed me ass off! Then just couldn’t help myself binge watching all the episodes to series 11 in two months and now i believe this is the most hilarious and funniest UK comedy i have ever watched.

Most plots are about Lee and Lucy’s pants on fire; and all problems come to you at once; You lied once and need to find ten other lies to cover yourself up. The friendship/family life in the series are so down to earth, you could easily relate them to our daily life (especially when you have a northern boyfriend) but it’s definitely not a mundane life like other soaps, trust me it’s all unexpected. And I love the way Lee (who is also the writer) uses his words so wisely, I should have got myself a notebook and mark them all down! Similar to other comdies, there might be some misunderstandings to make it fun but but the main difference is, there are real shit! For example, if you found some white powders in a comedy you might find out that they are just actually the washing powders in the end, so all the things you did in between worrying all along turned out funny but unnecessary. But in this show, they are real drxgs and killing is also going to happen! It’s dramatic, thrilling (sometimes) but also, most importantly, funny. It made my lockdown life much easier.

Watching this show helped me understand so many cultural things as well. I think the ultimate goal of understanding English is to understand the punch lines! I could imagine how hard if it need to add Chinese subtitles and there would be so much to explain! So sad to say goodbye but looking forward to series 12. RIP Bobby Ball and Frank, #together we will be OK!#
