剧情简介：WealthyRolloTreadway(BusterKeaton)suddenlydecidestoproposetohisneighboracrossthestreet,BetsyO'Brien(KathrynMcGuire),andsendshisservanttobookpassageforahoneymoonseacruisetoHonolulu.WhenBetsyrejectshissuddenofferhowever,hedecidestogoonthetripanyway,boardingwithoutdelaythatnight.Becausethepiernumberispartiallycovered,heendsuponthewrongship,theNavigator,whichBetsy'srichfather(FrederickVroom)hasjustsoldtoasmallcountryatwar. Agentsfortheothersmallnationintheconflictdecidetosettheshipadriftthatsamenight.WhenBetsy'sfatherchecksupontheship,heiscapturedandtiedupbythesaboteurs.Betsyhearshiscryforhelpandboardstheshiptolookforhim,justbeforeitiscutloose. TheNavigatordriftsoutintothePacificOcean.Thetwounwittingpassengerseventuallyfindeachother.Atfirst,theyhavegreatdifficultylookingafterthemselves,butadaptafterafewweeks.Atonepoint,theysightanavyshipandhoistabrightly-coloredflag,notrealizingitsignalsthattheshipisunderquarantine.Asaresult,theothervesselturnsaway.
